I was up at 6 to put the garbage and recycling bins out on the curb. Then I drove to my friend's house to do the same for her plus turn on the garden sprinklers.

I came home long enough to have a shower and take my magic pill, then I was off to Sorrento to have breakfast with a friend. I took my leave at noon to continue my Wednesday journey to Salmon Arm. My three hour open session to paint is my mid-week oasis. I've had iris on my mind all week. No surprise that I have one on my canvas too.

I was back into town for my Heritage Commission meeting for 5:30. I came home for 8:00 with a strawberry milkshake that will serve as dinner.

What a long day! I'm beat.
