Jack Frost passed this way

After weeks of snowy weather, we were in for a shock this morning. Severe frost leading to sub-zero temperatures all day. After a walk to school with my son this morning, my gloved hands were painful with cold, and later when I went to take the car out it felt that the steering wheel had really turned to ice. It was a high of -3C when I went out in the middle of the day. I like this shot as it's like a pattern for a beautiful piece of material (it's actually the wood beside my front door).
