a chipmunk's two speeds...

1) super fast or 2) frozen as if they are dead

I have a number of blurry photos of this chipmunk and others running, hopping, and/or almost flying about and other photos, such as this one, where they simply freeze.

While at the duck pond today I saw the 5 ducklings, so they are fortunately still alive. I haven't seen the gosling in a few days, so hopefully it is still doing well. My guess is that the gosling will do just fine as it has two Canada Geese right by its side all the time.
