Nanas birthday

Today is Nanas birthday and she and Pops came to spend the day with us. They took P to her music class this morning which was nice. I was supposed to be going to a weaning workshop but only found out it had been canceled once I got there!

Afterwards however we packed up the picnic gear and headed out to the country park. The sun was shining and it was lovely sitting by the lake watching the ducks and geese. Especially one little gosling that was very brave and kept wanting P's sandwiches! Pops had made a birthday cake so we all had a slice of that and had a walk around the lake in the sunshine. We ended up at the play park which in essence is a giant sand pit with the usual play equipment. P had a great time getting pops to build her sand castles so she could knock them down!

Mr J is in France for the next two nights so I'm going to enjoy having the bed to myself and no 5:45 alarm in the morning. Hope A got the same memo!
