Ha! The first bee shot of the summer! Well in my journal :)

A fine sunny day of working from home with a spot of bee stalking in the back garden thrown into the mix

All items ordered from amazon are now accounted for. Was that a collective sigh of relief I heard?

Jake and I have said our goodbyes. He is off to his Dad's now to finish his packing. Mr Lif will pick them both up at 2am and then drive them to the airport for the first leg of their long journey to Brazil! Gulp! I shall stay home and look after the dogs get my beauty sleep

Do you know the shocking thing I heard today? The ex Mr Lif was not allowed to pay his car insurance in monthly instalments. Why? Well the AA have found out from some partner organisation he has a terminal illness. So in the event of him dying in any month they might lose out on £20. Given the man can't work it's blooming diabolical.

It gets worse. Utility companies do the same. No direct debit to spread the cost, winter bills must be paid all in one go rather than a 12 month spread. The only alternative is a pre pay meter at a higher tariff rate.

These large companies should be ashamed of themselves!


Anyway I digress. A small wine may be called for to soothe my ire :)
