Common Poppy (Papaver rhoeas)

I love all the colours, details and textures going on in the fruit head and stamens of the gorgeous common poppy. I have several in one of my borders (much to my brother-in-laws disgust), but I love to see their bright, cheerful flowers when I look out of my kitchen window.

I have back blipped the 3rd June and the one from yesterday which I couldn't do because my laptop failed. Thankfully it's now up and running thanks to a very knowledgeable gentleman at PC World.
