Hector

This is Hector the wild Red deer stag that hangs about at Glensanda Quarry. The residents have named him hector and he has been about for 3 to 4 years.

I have been out working at Glensanda quarry for the last 3 days. It is the largest granite Super quarry in Europe. There are no roads here so every thing must come in and leave by boat including me. It is an extremely remote place but an amazing place to have the privilege to stay and work. It is heaven and it is hell all in one long day!

I have back blipped the last couple of days photos so take a look if you have time. Not much in the way of quarrying photos this time but the weather was very bad while I was around the quarry part of the site, maybe next week when I go back.

Lots to blip out there so here is a shot of hector with his friends as I left this afternoon.

In other news unfortunately Basil my cockatiel, who you last saw here, died on Sunday evening. I had him since he was a few months old and he was now 23yrs so it seems like forever. The house is very quiet now.

Sorry my blip a little disjointed tonight because I am very tired.
