Brown Hare

The dog and I saw this brown hare before it saw us!

Hares rely upon seeing the movement of predators as much as the predator itself, so if you stand still the chances are a hare will not notice you, and, like this one, they will continue to come towards you.

This hare heard the first click of the camera and stopped in his tracks. The dog moved and the hare sprinted away from us.
