The Watering Stone

The watering stone has been here, on the edge of the village for as long as people can remember and the water has been highly regarded - in fact the local pub used to fill bottles for anyone who wished to add it to their whisky. There is now a plaque stating that "this water is not suitable for drinking" - perhaps the whisky had a sterilising effect on the water!
