Freedom
Today was a good day. I managed to stay away from the studio for almost the whole day. In the morning I had a wander around Glasgow for a couple of hours. Its not something that I normally do and never on a saturday. I am not a fan of shopping at all. But I managed it.
I went back to the studio to collect my bike - thats where it lives - and went out for a long run, 175 mile round trip to be exact. The road took me around Loch Lomond to Crianlarich, down to Callander and back across to Bearsden and then back to Hamilton. There is a stretch around the edge of Loch Lomond that is sheltered by trees, this is the only time the rain came on so I hardly got wet at all. The weather was nice for the rest of the run. A little overcast but ideal biking conditions.
The scenery is fantastic around the Trossachs but unfortunately for my camera some of the best views are on stretches of road it would not be safe to stop on, even on a motorcycle.
We had a studio night out to round the day off. We went to a lovely Italian place that is about half a mile down the hill from the studio. It was a thoroughly enjoyable night.
This is a day I would like to have again.
