An English Folly
What a wonderful day for walking. Sunshine, fluffy clouds and a nice breeze. You can't beat it.
This is a folly built by James Lund of Malsis Hall in 1887.
Set on the top of Earl Crag overlooking Sutton-in-Craven, it affords great views of the Aire Valley.
There are 39 steps inside that take you up to the 'viewing platform', but with having Polly dog with me it gave me an excuse to miss out on the experience :-)
