fish out of water

I waited for hours for this...

Actually thats a fib. This trout is huge and sits near the road as you enter Gore - apparently the "Brown Trout Fishing Capital of the World". Hmmm, not what most kiwis would call it. There's also a sign about 50m from the trout claiming Gore to be the "Country Music Capital of New Zealand". Starting to get the picture?

I was on my way through to Invercargill to see Dr Lizi who has been down there playing surgeon and realising quickly that surgery just isn't her thing...
