It's a flower
...but the name escapes me! I am sure someone can tell me.
Saw this beauty on the way to work and wondered if I'd be able to snap it on the way back. For once, I managed it, nothing got in the way.
After work, I went to the o2 shop, to sort out a contract issue, then to meet a friend for coffee in Black Books. After a while, we had to shift seats because of the greenhouse effect of the sun shining through the plate glass windows. I had a halloumi and olive salad. Yumm!
Then I got home and helped CleanSteve shift a load of stuff in the garden, as our neighbour is having her fence panels replaced. These are the ones that were blown down in the storms of last winter. We hope that the Elder tree will go, and that we'll be able to see out over the valley again.
It's a lovely evening, and I am just about to embark on cooking supper, which involves Puy lentils with bacon and balsamic vinegar.
