Bird on a Wire

Not a particularly original title, I grant you, but I have had a happy few minutes finding out where the phrase comes from (a Leonard Cohen song, since you ask) and Youtubing all the different versions of it (Joe Cocker's, since you ask - would link but can't from my tablet).

Anyway, thank you for your lovely words yesterday, I am much happier today. Have had an restorative day at home, doing no work at all. I have dusted and hoovered and changed bed sheets and the like, enjoying the sunshine in between.

Hardly any more weeks of term left either, hooray!!
