Vancouver Lego

Kerry sent us this image of a ovely piece of art in a vancouver art gallery.

The artist Douglas Coupland is a Canadian author famous for writing 'Generation X'.

I found a lot of the exhibition quite overwhelming...it was large, bright, using many different media and varied installations and focused on the theme of the '21st century condition' .....broadly about language, our information saturated lives, how we exist as singular beings in the digital age where 'everywhere is anywhere and anything is everything.

In the midst of all that, the relative simplicity of this sculpture was quite soothing!
