LONG AFTERNOON SHADOWS

The minute the sun goes it is cold and we pack up the class.
The children have made coupon books of promises for Father's day on Sunday.
Most of the class are absent as they are writing exams at the moment. Of the five children present, three have absent fathers and do not want to make booklets for them. Hanli suggests that they could make "bederf boekies" (spoiling booklets) for someone that they love.
I learn a valuable lesson today.
