A delightful scenario acted out at the feeders this afternoon. The Blue Tit family had arrived on the top of the feeder and the three little ones were waiting to be fed. When parent didn’t get back to them, they started looking down. Finally they made the leap down onto the feeder. They still wanted feeding, but parent was having none of it. So eventually they fed themselves. Then two of them retreated to a nearby tree – exhausted. Gorgeous fluffy little things aren’t they.
