unrivalled views!

That's what the sign at the start of the Orrest Head footpath at Windermere says. I should be able to see Morecambe Bay, the Pennines and the Lakeland Fells. As the photo shows, I could see the lake at 7.30 am, but not much further.

It has cleared to give a lovely day but an early blip (and some exercise) was necessary. From past visits I can confirm that views are indeed good considering the relatively low height of the hill and there are 5 seats on top to admire them from when the weather is better. I'll play the tourist one sunny afternoon and go back for another blip.
