This is our Grandson Jaxon I picked him up from school today, for his school assignment he had to chose and dress up as an important person from the early settlement days of the swan river in the early 1800's, he chose Maitland Brown.
Maitland Brown (17 July 1843 – 8 May 1905) was an explorer, politician and pastoralist in colonial Western Australia. He is best remembered as the leader of the La Grange expedition, which searched for and recovered the bodies of three white settlers murdered by Indigenous Australians, and subsequently killed a number of Indigenous people in an incident that remains controversial to this day...

Jaxon has written his palm cards for his speech in class this Friday introducing himself as Maitland Brown, he has done a pretty good job on his display chart too.
we had the dress rehearsal tonight, he had us roaring with laughter, he loves dress up! And he looked definitely " The Dude"
