But When the Dawn Comes Up....

It was lovely to see a beautiful blue sky for the Dakota taking it's farewell swoop over the airport this morning.

Over the last fortnight, she's come over from Canada; attended various air shows, and most amazingly returned to Normandy in France, where 70 years ago she played a part in the D-Day landings.

I spotted my boss standing out side on his motor, and just missed the first fly by - I ran in to get my camera and almost kicked myself, because I had no card in. Luckily - Boss had his camera to hand and handed it over.. I was so delighted when it took a second fly past.
