Another flower .......

.............. but petal-less this time.

My huge oriental poppies have now lost their petals and have left behind these seed heads - they look to me like someone has taken some wool and knitted them each a little fancy purple hat. (I have imagination - lol).

I seem to have a bias toward placing flowers on the right-hand side of the frame so, after I cropped this one, I flipped it too so that it appears on the left ..... not sure which I prefer ........

I suppose it has something to do with the left and right hand side of the brain ..... although I am mainly right-handed, I iron left-handed, count money as a lefty and do quite a lot of gardening chores left-handedly - I also use my left eye for looking through my camera viewfinder which always makes for "face marks" on the rear screen!!!!
