Building a Camp Fire

We took the children into the New Forest for a lunch time picnic after Oliver finished pre-school.

After lunch the children were keen to make good use of their surroundings with some imaginative play. Isabella happily announced that they were building a camp fire.

They both started collecting sticks, but then moved onto dragging huge branches into a pile.

Here they are working together to move one of the larger "sticks".
