Andy's Photo Journal

Old rubbish and some hidden gems

Well that's it 365 blips in the bag. It seems to have been an incredibly short year. When I started this I really wanted to improve my photography and start wandering into areas where I normally didn't shoot. I think I've managed that and my love for photography has really grown. Like everything else there is the inevitable dips and I punted out some rubbish, but it kept me working and practising.

Thanks as always to the incredible people that keep giving me a wee lift by posting comments and viewing. A huge thank you goes out to the people that have subscribed. Given the growth of blip I'm going to have to look at my own subscriptions as I'm finding it more and more difficult to see the people that I'd "bump" into day to day. Blip seems to have gone from being a large village to a large town in the past year.

The quality of the stuff on here continues to amaze me, there are so many talented people out there and people that despite their protestations are a damn sight better than they think they are. I've seen so much of the world over the past year and came into contact with some tremendous people. Here's to another great year on a very special website.

I've dug out some of my own personal treasures if anybody is interested.

The world still needs a hero.

Gran Turismo This was a wee bit nuts to take. Basically I had the GRD on a Hama u-clamp on the steering wheel. I think Electric Bugaloo did something similar with a Gorillapod. Not sure if the Federales would have been too impressed with either of us.

Shopping Done

Everything That Happens Will Happen Today A Brilliant gig and a shot I'm really proud of.

The farm and the power station.. I'll be back for this one when I have some L glass, and maybe the farmer plants some rapeseed, and the light is a bit more nuts. I pass this every day and I reckon there is at least a dozen shots of this to be taken.

The Old Lady A lot of people got a laugh out of this one. Hopefully Big In Falkirk can find it's funding for this year.

Grey. Where the Mono fixation began

Church. Sometimes you just get lucky.

Big Sky Country. My own personal Mid West America.

Hillwalking. Sometimes the light is just right.

The Falkirk Wheel. I'm a bit proud of this one.

Glen Ample. This one came out quite well I reckon. Great reminder of a really nice day.

Andy don't do cats ;)
