OLD NORTH BRIDGE

On our way out of Massachusetts, we stopped in Concord at the Minuteman Park and visited the Old North Bridge (where the shot heard 'round the world was fired). It was a fascinating place, obviously steeped in history. I got some great shots of the bridge, the "Old Manse" where Emerson and Hawthorn lived, and the great mansion and gardens that sit on the property. It was a quick visit, but a very enlightening one...one I am very happy that we were able to make.
