Snow Down Under

SHORT, BACK & SIDES !

Mission accomplished. Regarding the friendly blippers (& there were several of you !) who questioned the wisdom of cutting back so early, I do it at this time every year. Hydrangeas are hardy plants, & come Summer, they put on a tremendous display. There are always so many things to be done in the Spring, it's good to have one job out of the way. Last winter, Peter & I put dozens of cuttings in my top garden & although they all 'took', when Summer came they succumbed to the awful drought. They do like moisture. My husband bought the 'boys toy'. It must be 28 years old. Ten years ago a G. Daughter showed me how to use it & now I buzz all over the garden. It's magic & I couldn't garden without it. Speedy Gonzales that's me !
