Otago Harbour...

We have found a new view to enjoy whilst we have coffee.
Taken from Rotary Park looking down the Otago Harbour to the open sea with the busy coastal port of Port Chalmers on the left ( you can make out the giant lifting cranes), Goat and Quarantine Islands centre and Taiaroa Heads far distant right.
Fabulous view that you can expect to see a lot more of in the future.

( Taiaroa Heads is the only mainland breeding and nesting site for the Royal Albatross in the world. It is one of Dunedin's many wildlife venues that make Dunedin so unique. One can view Albatross chicks being feed and nurtured during the nesting season. The town bells are rung to welcome the first albatross as they return from their long journeys around the globe.
