I picked this single flower today and put it in a vase on the outside table. It was well past it's prime so didn't plan to photograph it, until I saw it this evening being backlit by the evening sun. Thought it was kind of fun with a little added high contrast.

Planted 16 dahlia tubers this evening. Probably a little late. Hopefully they will bloom before we get frost again!
