Relics
These old trolley cart wheels look like something from the 1800's (and as far as I know they are).
They were used in the former glass factory that once dominated the economy and skyline of my town. Cheap foreign imports (read China) cut the industry off at it's knees and it collapsed. Years later the building caught fire and collapsed in on itself, leaving only those elements that could not burn. The bricks have been hauled away and the steel sold for scrap.
All that's left is these few pieces that may someday end up in a museum; or maybe they'll just rust into the ground. Good-by.
