Getting ready for winter

In spite of today's sunshine, I always feel like winter's on its way when the clocks go back - so this seemed like a good day to put away all the bits and pieces from the side garden. Never sure what to do with the washing-line pole, though: that's the problem with decisions you only make once a year.

Had an excellent weekend with Chris and Joanne visiting; it's always good to catch up with old friends you can be completely at ease with - and as ever, the time went all too quickly.
