Splash!

Today did not work out as planned. This little one woke up feeling "bad". She spent yesterday feeling "bad" and her dad took charge. Today it was my turn. So, meetings were cancelled, etc whilst CBeebies was drafted in to help with parenting so I could get on with work.

I thought I should get a cough she's had for weeks checked out on the off-chance that accounted for the fever and the feeling of "bad". So we took a walk to the doctors and it turns out the poor wee thing has tonsillitis and now has to endure a ten day course of penicillin. She's pictured here on a calpol induced high and enjoying puddles on the way to the chemists.

Getting the penicillin down her neck has been interesting. The first mouthful was spat on the floor. The second was slurped up with a straw while she held her nose and endured in anticipation of a sweetie.
