Gymnastics in the park, with audience of two

Some folks were practicing gymnastics in our local park. The man on the left held that pole the whole time, and I'm sure it had some purpose, but I have no idea what. He seems interested in the couple in the background, who I think had their own agenda. It was, in any case, a beautiful summer day, and one appropriate to handstands.
