View on the training ride

Descending the Meldons I had always thought about taking a photo of the wee cottage, but the weather just hasn't been good enough to capture it. Today it was, the weather was much better than the forecast said it was going to be.

First training ride for Tour O' The Borders in August. Two months to go. Not a bad ride, 114.5 km (71.1 miles) in 3 hours 55 minutes. Perhaps if I didn't take the camera I might have gone a bit faster, lighter load. Ah well.
