Worker Bee

Today has been hard, not least because of the weather....my surgeries have been roasting!

This morning was bearable with the aid of a fan, but this afternoon was like a sauna!! My room has air con but my Boss has the remote and refuses to relinquish it without a fight.

I managed 2 solid hours of 'bikram dental hygiene' before giving in and asking him to switch the air con on.

He was reluctant as (he pointed out) it was raining outside....in return I pointed out I'm inside! He allowed me to take the remote, but within literally 4 minutes he was back in switching it off, with the justification that I didn't have a patient booked in for half an hour so I could just open the door for a bit!!!! Thanks.

So today's blip is a busy little worker bee, laden with pollen, which is how I felt at work.....and there was no Mr A to rescue me :-(
