Today, I met a customer I hadn't seen for a few months.

'Oh my goodness.' she said, 'have you lost a lot of weight?'

'Yes,' I replied, 'about two and a half stones.'

'Well!' she said, 'I'd never have recognised you if I hadn't met you....'
