Pee-witted

I went up towards the top end of the valley today - a bit breezy but sunny with those big fluffy clouds. I was particularly hoping to catch sight of redstart, which I did albeit briefly - even got in a single shot - not as nice as I would have liked. Also saw Orchids, and Broad-bodied Chasers at a small bog, which also had lots of Sundew growing on it. These were too far away in the bog to photograph successfully but I know another area where they may be more accessible - maybe tomorrow?
Over the higher ground, I saw a Buzzard and lots of Snipe and Curlew, and as always, the Lapwing were very attentive as I approached their nesting area.
