Lovingly constructed

Sterling work by my better half cutting all our back hedge on her day off , it was quite a job. I finished the job after work cutting the hard to reach bits and clearing up . During this I came across this beautifully constructed empty nest , looks like it was from earlier this year.

Not sure what bird had constructed it perhaps a sparrow or a blackbird .
