Blackpool's New Winter Attraction

Ever Enterprising, it seems that Blackpool is putting in a late bid to host the "Bonspiel" Curling match. Clearly a bit more work is needed on the surface, but there is the potential for a rink of five miles in length along the Promenade.

The good news is that you don't need to purchase a wristband, but you may end up with a wrist cast. Suffice to say, I walked along the beach instead,!!

If you are coming through, don't forget to pack your toothbrush, crampons, kendal mint cake, ski's, helmet, knee pads.......
