The Big G in Raintown
This morning I was in George Square and I decided to take a few shots of the new installation, which is at the heart of a major programme of activity to dress the city for the Commonwealth Games.
Affectionately known as the Big G, the gigantic, three-dimensional structure, which has been designed to reflect the Games logo and is taller than a double decker bus, measures a whopping 5.5m (18-feet) in height by 10.2m (33.5-feet) in circumference.
Peeking through the installation you can see the statues of Sir Walter Scott, Robert Burns and part of the City Chambers.
