Early evening at the lake

Its been another hot day, cloudy to start but then sunshine with a breeze. Went to the garden centre this morning, then C took mum to hospital and his parents shopping while I did mum's housework. Trip to the allotment to do some watering/weeding and a walk to the brickfield pond where I hoped to see the swans and cygnets but not a sign of them:( Did see a family of coots, a butterfly and a few poppies that are still in bloom. Liked this view best. Bad head again today.
