Grrrrr

A little word of advice to anyone who wants to go to a canal and take stunning pictures. By all means take cameras, lenses, filters and a tripod but DO NOT take along a one-armed woman and a small child.
The hands that should be setting up tripods and inserting filters will be used mainly to restrain said child from falling in the canal, and to unwrap ice creams for both child and one-armed woman.

My creativity went up the swanee, and my nose was put particularly out of joint when one-armed woman borrowed my camera and fired off 3 exquisite shots of the canal scene which put mine to shame.

So I blipped Henry in the car-park just before we went home.
