Coniston Water

I spent all morning in the garden and removed lots of overgrown shrubs. The border is now clear while I decide how to re-model it. The forecast had been wet so it was a lovely surprise to spend all morning there without a drop.

Santana had an unexpectedly free afternoon so we decided to take advantage of the good weather and headed over to Coniston Water. We drove up the east side of the lake which is quieter than the other side. We stopped at Brantwood for tea and even managed to sit outside as it was so lovely.
