The Edward River near deniliquin, NSW
I think this is the image I will remember from the Edward River on this trip. The river is a strange feature, it's an anabranch of the Murray River, which means it's a piece of that river that's split off and then rejoins downstream. Needless to say this means that this area is very flat, floods in springtime and is generally fertile. It also a beauty and splendour all of its own, and it's well off the tourist routes!
