32° today. A little bit of breeze, but not enough.

I shouldn't complain. Storms have killed 6 in the north of Germany. They're due here overnight or tomorrow.

A "back to work, proper" day. I did escape mid-morning to Gerolfing (60 minute cycle, there and back) to have a natter with Rosi. Her family is coming to stay with me next week. Mum & dad, plus 3 kids (2 very large teenage boys).

Watch this space.

On the way back I paused for a few moments at VFB Friedrichhofen's neat little ground. They play in the Kreis (= county) league 1.

Football's a bit topical. Who to support in the World Cup?

Germany? Second home and nice people, even if their footballers are robotic.

England? Robotic footballers too, but our British cousins. Then there's all the Jock/Jockland/subsidy junkie abuse some of them send Scotland's way.

Oh well. Perhaps I'll ignore it all and concentrate on summer.
