Poppy and Snail

Not had a good day today:-( BirdCam has stopped working!! Had to get the engineer out because laptop wouldn't start up:-( Laptop is now working:-) Went to Fitness Studio and was the only one there - I expect everyone else was having their lunch! Then went to Montrose Basin to see what was going on - not a lot actually! Arrived just in time to see Heron flying away upstream somewhere. Spotted a pigeon sitting on an overhead cable and decided to focus on him and catch him as he flew off. HALF AN HOUR later I was still waiting! Went to Lidls to get some Salmon Burgers for my lunch. Had lunch - then went into garden in search of something else to blip. Thought I might do a macro of one of my big poppy, but they were a bit droopy and bedraggled due to the rain pour we'd just had! However, spotted this wee snail sheltering in one of them and decided that he would be my blip. Took several shots - this one is probably the best.
