Following her early to bed, Katie was awake before 6am. By 7am she had read several books to me and did a wonderful job of them. By 7.30 we had made fabric choices for a playsuit pattern that I am testing this week.

Nursery this morning. Struggled to convince her it wasnt quite height of summer weather for clothes. Of course, by the time I collected her it was pretty much height of summer weather!

We went swimming after nursery. She cycled there, swam for 45 minutes and cycled back again. She has got much better with her backstroke the past couple of sessions. We stopped for a few bits of shopping then headed home. We had something to drop to nursery, so stopped home to collect it. She decided to change into her new Elsa dress. I loved watching her glide down the street with the cape billowing behind her and the dress glistening in the sunshine. She had wanted to go into preschool to take the disk and to show her dress off. The recipient of the disk was at the door. She had a very definite unimpressed face - she thought that would be her not going to preschool! I said she could. She loved showing them all her new dress. As we walked home, Grandad's van drove past us. She ran rather quickly to meet him.

She changed straight into her swimming costume and took them to see her new paddling pool. Slightly tired has set in, so its time for tea!
