My father, 17 years of age, spent his last night in Scotland in Edinburgh I be thinking. He embarked at the Port of London, a passenger on the SS Sophocles of the Aberdeen Line for Australia on the 1st March 1922. He purchased this artefact on the voyage. For as long as I knew it lay on his dressing table beside his bed.

2 minutes to midnight. Goodnight, blip family people. It's close to bedtime for me. When I get the water hot for my hot water bottle:)
