Wow, what a long day.

Up at 6am, over to the airport, flight to LA for 10.5 hours, waited ages for our rental car and finally got to Venice Beach and it's cloudy! But as Shelly keeps saying, we're in LA, who cares! Very true.

So after being up for 22 hours we popped to the local shop, grabbed some snacks and sat in the beach for a bit. This weather certainly brings the surfers out!

Then off to bed and it is now 4.14 am here and I am wide awake. Got to love these time differences.

Shopping later! And the search for sunshine. Apparently in Palm Springs it is going to be high 30's!
