Where Geoff lives is an old Wehrmacht Depot. It is still used by the Bundeswehr but there are no soldiers here.it is used for Grain Storage. This was built in winter of '44, '45. as an anti aircraft gun Position for defence against air attack.Although then it had no roof. It was never put to the test, although I think that against a Hurri bomber, ( 12 machine guns ) or Rocket fireing Typhoons it would have stood no chance. Lucky for the then garrison that the war passed them by.
It is now home to a Colony of Pipistrilles, and as such protected against being demolished.
