Herman the German

Funny to blip food on the day when we had none at home. It is Queen's Birthday today and all shops are closed. So takeaway for dinner.

This is Herman, the German Sourdough Friendship Cake. I was given some sourdough and I multiplied it for 10 days, adding all necessary ingredients. And today was the 10th baking day. I must say it was worth the wait, the cake is delicious. I have also, as a part of the "friendship" bit in the name, gave away 3 parts of sourdough so my friends can do the same. Yes, it is a cake "chain mail", only without the blackmail part, so nothing will happen if you don't make a cake.
