No ponente today

“Ponente” means: ‘In the western Mediterranean: a westerly wind; the west wind’. Chelsea is neither in the Med nor did it see any wind today – westerly or otherwise. In fact, it was a beautifully sunny day and so it felt like the Med and I thought this reflection in a car mirror had a certain Mediterranean feel to it – blue sky, white buildings etc. Unfortunately the Med weather didn’t last long as it is tipping down as I write this. Edit to add that tipping it down is now an understatement.
